Greece certain to get next round of aid: reports
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Greece will get another round of international aid because euro-area leaders do not want the deficit-riddled nation to exit the common currency, according to wire service accounts Saturday citing two German magazines. "The Greeks will receive a list of reforms which must be approved by their parliament by a fixed date. The money will be released as soon as lawmakers have voted," a Eurogroup source told the Wirtschaftswoche business weekly, Reuters reported. Another report in the Focus magazine cited European Parliament sounces as saying Greece would receive its next tranche worth 31 billion euros

Spain to borrow 207.2 billion euros: report
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Spain intends to borrow 207.2 billion euros in 2013, the Budget Minstry said Saturday, according to a Bloomberg News report. Spain's budget minister said Spain's debt would expand to 90.5% of gross domestic product next year, according to the report. This year's budget gap would be 7.4% of economic output, the minister said. The nation's 6.3% target will be reached because it can exclude the cost of rescuing its banks, the minister added. Spain's government is under increasing pressure to look to the European rescue fund for aid instead of financial markets.
